Cannot send emails but can receive
My girlfriend has been trying to send mass emailings to her clients. Suddenly Outlook will no longer send the mailings and they sit indefinitely in the outbox. The email she is sending is probably about 400 to 500k. She can receive emails with no problem. This has happened before, and I ran a repair on the Office installation. That seemed to do the trick, but now it's quit again. Does anyone know why this might be happening and how I can make it STOP?

I'm still waiting to hear any complaints from my girlfriend. I tried all of your suggestions war, including disabling the outgoing a/v scan. I sent a few single emails successfully, but didn't get to try a mass emailing. I'll ask her again when I get back in town and will assign points or continue troubleshooting from there.
Thanks,
Chris

Okay, she had some problems, but they don't seem to be related to what was discussed here. She was unable to send or receive emails, but rebooted her system and then everything was fine. Points awarded to War1.
