I'm writing an App that hooks up to my Mobile Device and sends / retrieves files etc etc using the VBRAPI RemoteCE 0.1.0.3 library. &nbsp;Got everything working but have a small problem that if i go to connect and my PDA isn't available the app just hangs until the device does become available.<br />

It's just one event, CeRapiInit, which opens the protocol to the device. &nbsp;Is there any way i can force my app to perform a DoEvents to stop it hanging and allow me to implement a timeout?<br />

Forcing an app to DoEvents

Visual Basic is Microsoft’s event-driven programming language and integrated development environment (IDE) for its Component Object Model (COM) programming model. It is relatively easy to learn and use because of its graphical development features and BASIC heritage.
