TextBox bound to Dataset save new data to XML?

It looks like there are many ways to save data to XML via dataset.

I'm attempting to replace SQL datatables for small address books and such.

I need to save email info from a multi-textboxed form into a dataset then an XML file.

The new .NET 2.0 seems to have made this easier, yet I have to figure it out.

To read an XML into a data set is done like so, I think:
 dsSettings.ReadXml("eSettings.xml", XmlReadMode.IgnoreSchema);

To write an XML from a dataset is done like so, I think:
dsSettings.dtEmail.WriteXml("eSettings.xml", XmlWriteMode.IgnoreSchema);

Yet when I start my project and type data into the textboxes, I only recieve the schema.

I have since changed the code to IgnoreSchema, but still no data.

I also using the new BindingSource instead of binding straight to the dataset found in textbox properties.

When you read the Xml file, does it have tables, and do those tables have rows?

int tables = dsSettings.Tables.Count;
int rows = dsSettings.Tables[0].Rows.Count;
