64 bit cpu comparison

hi guys
I need the latest scopp on 64 bit cpus and motherboards.
does anybody know of a good article that compares 64 bit cpus?
which one would you buy if you had around $300 to spend on a motherboard and cpu?

both excellent review sites.

I would try and stretch a bit and go for a dual core cpu - all of them are 64 bit.

As far as Dual core goes - AMD seems to have the lead right now with the X2 3800 outperformaing the intel Pentium D 820, albeit at a slightly higher cost
