Here is what we would like to do.

I will create a jsp with a table which will be filled by a remote DB.

The JSP client will send an XML message containing SQL info to a Web Server. The Web Server will route the request to the DB Server and will wait for answer. Then it will take an XML formatted response and will pass it back to the JSP Client in order to complete the table.

I am running NetBeans 4.1. with the Tomcat application server.

I think this is succeeded with web services but I have no experience building ones. I have searched Internet for an example, I got some from the Neatbeans site, I ve installed the Sun's Application Server too but nothing seemed to work. For God's sakes is there anything that works.

Folks I dont need the whole application. Just the simplest of messages to send and receive through a damn web service.

I will appreciate any help.
