Windows 2003 SBS: Where are the Intranet files located on the server?
Hi,
After transferring to a new server, our company intranet (using the Sharepoint system installed by default at http://companyweb/) has been replaced by the original intranet site (basically all the data has been removed from it and it looks like a fresh install). Oddly, the old server seems to have reverted to this as well.
Luckily, I have a backup of the old server - but what files do I need to restore to get the old Intranet back?

I didn't state this, but the link above shows the files necessary to restore your companyweb.
If all you have is a copy of the old system (such as the original harddrive), its possible but more difficult and involves a lengthier process.
Is there any chance the old system is still operational-if so boot it up, open the companyweb in FrontPage, go to Tools, Server, and I think the next link is backup site.
so, what's the story?
