The following SQL statement works fine when connecting to a Microsoft Access db in VB6 using ADO:

    ConnStr = "SHAPE {select Prefix,Name,CompanyName,Address1,Address2,City,State,Zip,Telephone,AlternateTelephone,Fax,ProviderCode," _
   & "SpecialtyCode from Provider  Order by ProviderCode} AS ParentCMD APPEND ({select ProviderCode,DateOfInterview,DateOfService,ServiceCode,LocalID,Cost from " _
   & "ServicesRendered WHERE DateOfInterview BETWEEN '" & gMySQLSearchBeginningDate & "' and '" & gMYSQLSearchEndingDate & "' Order by DateOfInterview } AS ChildCMD RELATE ProviderCode TO ProviderCode) AS ChildCMD "

It generates an error when connected to MySQL. I am just starting to work with MySQL and would like to know if the SHAPE command is supported.  I cannot find it in the MySQL 5.0 manual. I can do it another way, but would like to know if this is supported.
