troubleshooting Question

Automatic send and receive not working and receiving duplicate emails...

For some reason within the last month we have been having allot of trouble with email. Sometimes when I come in I'll have to manually press send and receive which at this point receives tons of emails and most are junk. It will always stop and cancel before it's done receiving all of them and then start all over again when the next send and receive is sheduled. I will litterally have to go into the web interface and delete all of the mail that hasn't come in that I don't need, just to get the mail to come through. That also raises another question. I can't figure out why we get so much damn junk email??? I must receive (being the catch all) over 400 crap emails a day...
