My network environment: Windows 2003 native network, 24 total desktops of which 12 are windows 2000 and 12 are windows xp. I have 2 windows 2003 domain controllers.

Network changes include an in place upgrade from windows nt to windows 2000 advanced server to windows 2003. I also did a domain rename once I switched the entire network over to windows 2003 native mode. I retired the windows nt 4 box but I still use the netbios name for my domain (my_domain).

I performed the domain rename from mynet.com to mynetwork.local. I did not do a domain rename on the domain controllers.

My systems on my network do not seem to be updating group policy according to the default schedule of 90 minutes, and some of my email does not get to their locations, also the times on all my systems are not synchronized.

My Domain Controllers are filled with these event id errors and I believe they (DNS servers) are affecting my policy updates, email, and time synchronization.

If any experts has any insights into DNS troubleshooting I will be glad to follow your advice.
