I have installed NetStorage and NetDrive on our server. It works correctly. What I want to do is this...
I have some customized Excel files that read and write to a USER's netware folder, which maps at login to the the N: drive. One user has a laptop that will sometimes be connected locally to the network, and sometimes with dial-up. When he is local, his N: drive maps fine and the program works fine. What I would like to do when he need this program from the road is:
1. Establish a dial-up connection (bellsouth.net)
2. Connect to NetDrive to access the NetWare server
3. (Have some kind of program, shortcut, etc. at this step to get Windows XP to map the N: drive to correct folder within the NetDrive area where the files are...)
4. Run the Excel file the same as if he were in the office.
Any ideas how to do/automate #3 ?
