Hello,

I want to enumerate through all running instances of IE on the local machine. During each iteration, I want to be able to access the Web Browser elements such as URL, current HTML DOM, etc.

I know about IE Automation but would like some guidance on how to approach this task. Enumerating through running instances would probably involve iterating running processes and identifying iexlorer instances. Then iterate through each thread of each instance? If you launcg IE directly from the shell, it opens in a seperate process whereas opening new IE windows from within current IE windows probably creates a thread or something.

Next obstacle is to somehow cast those windows to a WebBrowser control? Is this even possible? If not, I am sure there must be another way to access the windows IE object model.

Thanks,

Khan
