Hi,

I'm trying to retrieve the web user's timezone information through javascript. I need this to be sent to the server which is in a different timezone. I can retrieve the offset easily, but there is a problem with the daylight savings. I get a one hour difference on the server side.

How can I get the time current difference between user and server time?

I am using a Java application server with velocity web pages (no JSP). This is why I think I can only use JavaScript to achieve this.

Thanks
