Is there a PostBack timeout value?

I've created a multi-part form for an application I'm developing, where a user does the following.

Select a Date from a DropDownList -> AutoPostBack
(2nd ListBox is populated)
Select an Entry from Listbox -> AutoPostBack
(Form fields are filled with corresponding data)
Make edits to entry, click update -> PostBack

The problem is this: if the user takes, say, about a minute or less to make the changes, all works as is planned.  The update is performed and the first date DropDownList and 2nd ListBox remain populated.  Much more than a minute, however, and while the update still performs, the DropDownList and ListBox revert to their original, unselected state.

Is there some sort of timeout affecting this, or could it be a bug in my code?  If it's a timeout, how do I lengthen it?
