solaris 9 boot login problem

when mi system(solaris 9) boot is not apper the login panel directly apper the message login incorrect and i cannot enter de user and password?

Hardware platform? Sparc or x86?

Boot the system to single user mode:
   for Sparc "boot -s"
   for x86   "b -s'
check the /var/adm/messages file for details about the error messages.

need more help, post the error messages.

it´s sparc.
I try no boot normally but appear "Login incorrect" directly.
 in the messages files is refer:
ebus:kern.info
genunix: kern.info.
a) Have you tried to boot into single user mode (as suggested by yuzh)?
b) What happens if you press "Enter" a few times before trying to log in?
c) Do you have a keyboard, monitor and mouse attached or do you use a serial console?

a) Yes as single boot normally!!!
b)when y type "Enter" when the system start up apper  console login:
but don´t let my type anithing.
then pass and show the message login incorrect

a) When you tye "Enter" several times, do you get several "console login:" messages?
    Don't press too quickly, try it every two seconds or so
b) Do you have a Sun keyboard? Is it a USB keyboard?
    Do you have a USB mouse also?
c) Where is the keyboard connected to?

a)when show the messages console login: automatic get to the grapical message Incorrect login.
b)YEs y have Sun Keyboard and muse, it´s USB.
c)to usb port.
It´s a file where is the string to edit or change the console login script?
when start the system
You can disable graphical login:
a) Choose "session" -> "command line"
b) log in without graphic
c) /usr/dt/bin/dtconfig -d  (disable graphical login screen)
   Use /usr/dt/bin/dtconfig -e to re-enable
d) Make sure your password is typed correctly (type it as username to ckeck first!)

I type entry in console login:root
Message=
open_pam_conf: /etc/pam.conf writable by group.
syslog: /var/adm/utmpx not owned by root or not mode 644.
\nThis file must be owned by root and not writable by\nanyone other than root.
This alert is being dropped because of\nThis problem.

why i check to Make sure your password is typed correctly ??

Agreed with JustUNIX's comment http:#16001335, your system is messed up by someone (it could be worst if it is hacked !)

Consider boot up the system from Solaris CD to check it out. If you have reliable backup, restore from backup or perform a fresh install
for your system, remember to change your root and all user passwords.

You can also backup the data to somewhere (tape, or other machine)in case you need them, before rebuilding the system.
