Outlook 2003 Sent Items won't grow in size?

There's probably just something stupid I'm not doing, but I can't figure this out:

Outlook2003 with an Exchange mail server:  When the user sends an email, it's copied correctly into the "sent items" folder.  However, I imported some messages from an Archive .pst file into a 'temp' folder.  When I try to move these messages from the temp folder into the "sent items" folder, the look like they're moving (they disappear from the temp folder, and a progress bar dialog window briefly appears) but then when you open the sent items, it's not there.

It's as if the sent items folder has some kind of restraints on it that I can't find and takes the message in, but then immediately deletes, or archives it somewhere else, and I can't find it.

Any help is greatly appreciated getting these archived messages into the sent items folder!

Greetings, ebarsamian !

Check if the view is hidding read messages.  With Sent Items folder open, go to View > Current View > Messages.

Best wishes!

Move the messages from Temp folder to Inbox or another folder. Then move them into Sent Items folder.
