Thanks, works a treat, even after I apply IE6 SP1. I've put the entries into the .sif file for the RIS build rather than running your command but it's the same result so thanks.

Ok, I'm working on a XP SP2 RIS image for a laptop, and I'm trying to stop those irritating outlook express and media player shortcuts from appearing in everyones profile. What I'm also trying to do is find a method that means if I send a service pack out to these machines in future the shortcuts still wont appear.<br />

I've been looking at this page: <a href="http://www.windowsdevcenter.com/pub/a/windows/2004/11/16/JIT.html" rel="ugc">http://www.windowsdevcenter.com/pub/a/windows/2004/11/16/JIT.html</a>&nbsp;but the class path it talks about ({44BBA840-CC51-11CF-AAFA-<wbr />00AA00B601<wbr />5C})doesn'<wbr />t exist on my machines, I've found one with Outlook express in it with a slightly different class ID and tried ammending the StubPath string to HideStubPath but the Outlook express shortcut still appears when I create a new user profile from the default user profile which definitely does not contain the shortcut. <br />

I havn't tried the media player Class ID yet but there are several and I don't want to change things uneccesarily.<br />
