What SSL Certificate Provider Should I Use?
I need to configure SSL on a site that does some lite e-commerce but is used by large corporations so it has to be respectable. I need to get an SSL Certificate for it but I'm confused as to which one to get and what provider to get it from. I know that Verisign and Thawte are the big ones, but I've also heard the Rapidssl (Rapidssl.com) is ok. What is the difference between these providers & why would I pay hundreds more for an SSL certificate from Verisign or Thawte???
Many thanks

NOT GODADDY, they use crappy chained certs. The difference is pretty much that.
But you can get more expensive ones with wildcards in them. i.e work for *.domain.com
And "High Assurence" ones that confirm the identy of the owners,

There is a special offer from thawte right now:
$99 for 1 year, $169 for 2 years.
Seems to be valid though just via this link:
