I have a Netgear WGT624 v2 router. I upgraded about 9 month ago from a Netgear MR814v2. Everything was working fine with the WGT624 including VPN in to work. Suddenly my WGT624 stopped allowing me to VPN in to work - I get an 800 error. I connect to the VPN all the time when I am traveling. If I by pass my router and go direct off the high speed cable modem (Comcast Cable) I can connect. I had Netgear ship me a repalcement thinking it was a hardware issue. The replacement WGT624 behaves the same. I reset back to factory defaults, and upgraded to the latest firmware. I tried port forwarding still no luck. I plugged in the old slow MR814 v2 with facotry defaults - works fine - even VPN.
Ready to toss this WGT624 in trash and go by a Linksys......
