Greetings, azza192.

I'm not sure what sort of onscreen arrangement you have in mind, but you can have multiple Outlook windows open at the same time.  Right-click on Tasks and select "Open in new window", then resize and rearrange the windows as desired.

Cheers!

was hoping to split, half inbox and half tasks?
I don't remember ever being able to have two different folders open in the same window at the same time in any version of Outlook.  But maybe I'm just not remembering right.  If you open two Outlook windows you can resize them any way you want to, including a 50/50 vertical or horizontal arrangement.  If you close Outlook gracefully (i.e. shut it down), then it should remember which windows were open and what their placement was.
