Can you right click a folder and use send to? or does it have to be a file

I have a  customer that would like to right click a folder on the hard drive(not an email folder) and use the send to. Is this possible? She said it blocks the attachments. Right click and send a file has no issues . . . nor would I expect it to

Greetings, Brendle.

war1 is correct, but I'm not sure there's much value in sending a shortcut (.lnk file) to another user.  Unless the folder is in a location that the recipient can see and that they have permission to, then the shortcut is useless to them.  I expect what you really want is to send the contents of the folder as an attachment.  Essentially like attaching each file in the folder without having to attach them all individually.  You might also want this to capture all files in sub-folders too.  Send To isn't going to do this.  It's possible with some VB Script though.  Including sub-folders might require a third-party component.  If you want to go this route, then I can produce the code for the folder and will look into grabbing sub-folders too.

Cheers!
