Can i scan a preprinted form and use it as a background? 8.5 (VB.net 2003)

hi , can i scan one of our preprinted forms,
and then create the crystal report on that preprinted form?
i have vb.net 2003 and the accompanying crystal.

Assuming your image is already page sized, a common technique is to insert the image into your page header and then use the Section Expert and format the page header to underlay the following sections.  This allows the image to show behind the other sections so you can easily position your data fields where needed for your pre-printed form.

yes, its just that i would need more info,maybe an example, if i type in pre-printer form crystal i get jack :)
Just type the same thing you typed in the title of your question in google. read the first thing that comes up.

I don't understand what it is that you're looking for.  If part of our suggestions don't make sense we'll be happy to clarify.

Just to avoid any confusion, inserting the image of the pre-printed form only makes a background image - you'll still need to manually create your report so the fields overlay the blanks on the form.  If you're hoping that Crystal will automatically configure the report to match the background that isn't possible.
