I have an old Catalyst 2900 Series XL. &nbsp;When i turn it on it runs through the POST and indicates that it fails the 6th component tested. &nbsp;I have managed to find out that this it the: Switch core ASIC. &nbsp;Could someone please explain to me what this means?

Catalyst 2900 Series POST test
