I found a box in the trash can of a customer of mine that I believe is from this company: http://www.keykatcher.com/

it is a hardware key logger that plugs between your ps2 keyboard, and the PC. Is there any software that can detect these or any type of program that I could push down onto all of the workstations that would render them useless, while not disabling the keyboard as well?

It would be nice if It were possible to have some sort of inventory software that could see them and send an alert, but I would settle for something that would somehow render them useless, even if it wasn't able to alert me that someone attempted to get one to work. Does anyone know if there is a Server program, a client side program, special keyboard maybe, (switching to USB devices wouldn’t really solve the problem since there are USB versions of this product as well) I was thinking maybe a keyboard that sent Encrypted keystrokes, that were then unencrypted by a resident program running in windows, before being forwarded to what ever applications your keystrokes were meant for.

Any help would be appreciated!
