DOS is because you are putting the path in, I would make sure Share and Printing Services is on the PC. &nbsp;Where as windows is a gui, have your tried going to Start --&gt; Run and //servername/{name of the share will start appearing}. &nbsp;Hope that helps

From what I have learned when you map a network drive you cannot point it to just \\servername you must point it to a shared directory under that server name (ex. \\servername\sharename). The details behind why this is I amnot entirely sure of. I am sure there are some KB's on Microsoft's site that explain why though. <br />
