Update Gridview Table Row ID's from code-behind

codequest asked
Last Modified: 2012-06-22
After ASP.NET generates the HTML for a Gridview, I want to assign unique Id values to each of the rows, so I can mess around with them in javascript.

Is there a way to do this using codebehind?

This would assume that the codebehind could "get at" the HTML and/or the DOM, and would have an event in which it could make changes to the HTML, such as pre-render...

So, are those things possible, or is there another way to do it?

Otherwise, I'll try to do it in javascript at the end of the page load....

Any guidance on this would be appreciated.
