Asus P5WD2-E Preminum & Marvell RAID 614x new found found, keeps showing up
Information:
I have a server that I built and I was having problems with it back in April of 2005. I decided to get a new motherboard for it and got the Asus P5WD2-E Preminum. I have upgraded to the latest bios off asus's web site. My primary boot drive is an IDE hard drive. I have a total for 2 x 200GB IDE, and 16 200GB SATA drives. I have 2 SATA150 TX4 cards in the machine also.
Problem:
Everytime I boot the computer it says there is new hardware found for "Marvell RAID 614x". I browse to the folder that has the files for the drivers that I got from asus's web site. It finds the drivers and installs them and then everything is good. Then the next time I reboot and get back into windows the same fucking thing happens. It asks for the drivers for the new hardware for the Marvell RAID 614x. Every single time I reboot the machine or whatever, it comes up asking for those damn drivers and I've already installed them liike 50 times. I'm getting sick and tired of it coming up. Does anybody know anything on how to fix this.
Thanks

Go into the bios and disable the raid controller.

Fixed it myself. There is a option in there that says Marvell BOOT ROM. I disabled that, when I enabled it back now that found new hardware never comes up.
