Need to increase disk space of c drive where dc is.
Hi,
I have a server which runs on win 2003 SP1. I recently realised that i have been running low on disk space(with only afew MB of space left). This is also our DC.And only 4gig of space allocated for the it. Because of low disk space, the sus is unable to download updates, unable to backup sysvol using the win native backup.
How would i increase the diskspace?? there are 5 partitions in my server.
Would expanding the diskspace using softwares like partition magic or even the one which comes with windows pose a problem to the performance of my dc and ad?
thanks!

The sus download location is in a different partition. But, i cant seem to download the catalog as there is not enough space in c drive.
I am using windows backup to do the daily backup of the server. I feel that deleting the backup catalogs might free up some space. May i know where are the catalogs stored? I know the tasks or stored in the data and have deleted them. But, when i go to Restore and Manage Media in the backup console, i could still see old job files there. How can i remove them?
