I can't seem to flush the DNS resolver cache on a Win XP Home machine.

ipconfig /displaydns keeps coming up with same out-of-date information.

The XP home machine is member of a small workgroup of three computers.

Here are the things I have tried so far with no effect:

1.   ipconfig /flushdns
2.   uninstall NIC in Windows/ reboot / reinstall NIC in Windows
3.   Installed a different PCI NIC.   Disabled the On-board NIC in Windows.
