Stuttering sound

Hi,

When I'm playing sound through any of my players (Winamp, Wavelab, WMP, RealPlayer, etc) and games (mainly noticed it on Diablo II: LoD), the sound stutters.
I checked my CPU usage when playing an MP3 file in Winamp and it was fine, apart from when it stuttered, at which point my kernel times shot through the roof (I suspected the kernel previously, as the mouse jerks around when the stuttering occurs).
I've had a look through my sound settings and can't find any problem there, apart from my DivX 4 codec was set to 1st Priority (which I changed back to normal, but it didn't solve it).
It's strange, as it's only started to happen recently (since I started to play Diablo II: LoD again).
My processes list doesn't seem to come up with anything strange, it still does it after culling them down to the bare essentials:

explorer.exe
CDAC11BA.EXE    // Ignore this one, it's the licensing service for 3DSMax6.
svchost.exe
svchost.exe
svchost.exe
lsass.exe
services.exe
winlogon.exe
csrss.exe
smss.exe
svchost.exe
svchost.exe
System
System Idle Process

I'm running Windows XP Pro SP1.
My soundcard is a TurtleBeach SantaCruz (with latest driver update and firmware update).

My other system specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon XP 1500+ @ 1.31GHz
RAM: 512MB PC133 SDRAM
Graphics: ATI Radeon 9200 Pro AGP 128MB
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA7DXR+

I've ran DXDIAG and uploaded the report to http://burningmace.onlink-mod.net/DxDiag.txt

Any ideas as to how to fix the stuttering problem?

Thanks in advance!
