Remote Access problem

Hi experts.

My boss as created a nice little problem for me.
I had remote access nicely set up to allow just he & myself to work remotely until he decided last week to install a PHP testing server on our server and the default website was changed to the PHP server.
I now cannot achieve remote access but I can read the file listing for the wwwtest directory which holds the PHP testing server.
I have made the default web site point to C:\Inetpub\Remote (I assume that's the right path) without any improvement and tried to run the remote access wizard but this produces these errors at the end of the rraslog.txt file:

*** Running IExpress to build the package returned ERROR 80004005
*** ERROR: Cannot delete temp directory CMP13.tmp
Specifying error location (in CMAK) returned OK
*** CRRASCommit::CommitCMAK returned ERROR 80004005
*** CRRASCommit::CommitEx returned ERROR 80004005

Any suggestions, please?

Thanks
Steve

Hi dnojcd

Thanks very much for replying.

Sorry, I should have said; yes we are.
That said, everything was great until the default website got changed to the PHP test server, but, from your question, I guess (hope) you're onto something.

Hi dnojcd

I am still interested in your train of thought, however the main problem now appears to be cured.
I found that if I stopped the PHP server, the correct settings were restored.
When I restarted the PHP server, the remote connection still worked but very slowly.
Can this be cured so that I can keep the PHP server running and still maintain remote access at normal speed, please.

Thanks
Steve

Hi

I'm sorry I didn't respond to your last but I didn't get any email notification of your post.

I'd like to help with your questions but I have since dumped the PHP server as it had served its purpose.

Thanks for trying to help and you're welcome to the points.

Kind regards
Steve
