troubleshooting Question

SQL 2005 - Full text catalog does not work.

Hello,

i have been banging my head on a wall now for a week trying to get full text search working on my SQL server.  PLEASE DONT SEND ME A LINK, they dont help.  i have already reviewed the help files and msdn links associated with this error and i can not make any sense out of it.

here is the following recipe of soup that i have
SQL 2005 -
SA account is the admin account.
Full text search service is running.


this is the following error
------create failed for fulltext catalog 'test' (microsoft.sqlserver.smo)
------------ An exception occurred while executing a transact-sql statement or batch
--------------------- full text search is not enabled for the current database, use sp_fulltext_database to enable full text search (microsoft sql server, error: 15601)


how do i use sp_fulltext_database to enable?
