Helo Everyone,

A friend of mine has a cable modem, desktop computer, and wireless network card on his laptop. He wantes to create a network by keeping his computer wired, and his laptop wireless. However he only has one wireless access point and a router.

If the access point is plugged into the router, and the desktop is plugged into the router can the wireless access point still be managed?

My concern is by placing the access point into the router, the IP address will change and he will not be able to use the remote interface to change security settings... etc through the web-interface system.
