InterSystems Cache & MS Access Linked Table problem

QUASAR, one of our 3rd party applications, has an InterSystems Cache database. I'm trying to query data in a copy of the Production database using linked MS Access tables.

When I create a System DSN connecting to the 'SAMPLES' namespace/database, using InterSystems ODBC driver, I can see and link to tables in the Cache database OK. When I create a similar DSN for our QUASAR database, the connection tests OK. However, when I try to link to tables in the database I don't see any tables?

Our QUASAR support team extract data by displaying 'globals', and capturing screen output to .txt files. I know very little about Cache, but from what I've read so far ODBC SQL support seems to be quite a new feature for Cache. I'm wondering if I need to set something up for our QUASAR database before I can link to tables (definition of fields for example - the samples database has 'classes' defined, our Quasar database doesn't).

I'd appreciate it if someone out there could help, or perhaps give me a pointer.

Thanks,
Keith.
