Sata HD
I have a winxp pro box with a ide boot drive and 2 sata storage drives. I reinstalled windows, loaded my sata drivers with F6 and my mobo disc. The sata drives show up in bios and device mgr but not in My Computer. Have tried reinstalling sata drivers, dling newest ones, and flashing mobo biod to latest veriosn--nothing. anyone know how i can mount these drives and access the data? I do not want to reformat the sata drives bc they have important data on them. Thanks!

what rindi said - but you may also need to enable the drive in Drive Management too. That' s just a case of right clicking on the drive and setting to active IIRC. Some manufacturers have a specific utility for this too, which may be worth looking for on the website.
