Internet Explorer Filter issue

You can see that I used a filter as a solution to this: http:Q_21738231.html
Anyway, have a look at the page here:
In any browser EXCEPT Internet Explorer, click in the empty space of a row, and it will "expand" to show more info.  This is done with an onclick on the <tr> tag.  The top two rows should alert "here" when you click them (assuming the onclick fires).  The problem is that in Internet Explorer, any of the rows with a background color (the filter) don't function properly.  The onclick never fires.  IF, however, you click on some works (unless it is a link...the JS function isn't supposed to expand/contact if the user clicks a link).

Any Ideas?
