I'm trying to use Lightwave to visualize some GIS (Geographic Information Systems) data.  Here is my question:

Is there a way to extrude an object (for example a cube) based on a time value in a data table?  I have a table of 'area values' that are recorded by date.  So, there are two columns - DATE and AREA VALUE.  It looks like this:

DATE                 AREA VALUE
01/01/2005        128884.43
01/02/2005        139933.30
01/03/2005        139800.89
... and so on

Is there a way to link this to an object's extrusion properties?  Basically, I would like the object to change based on the dated 'AREA VALUE' within my Lightwave scene.

Any help would be greatly appreciated... and I might even acknowledge you in my thesis!
