Hi,

I have a web site similar to experts-exchange in which typically users enter text and these text is displayed to other users.
The user also may enter html tags. Since the user may enter wrong html tags (such as a table opening <table> which is
not closed) it may confuse the web page in which it is displayed. So typically I replace special html characters with their HTML (such as < with &lt;) equivalents so that the browser does not interpret them.

But it would be a nice feature if the user could enter tags so that the user can make some text formatting.
So I wonder if it is possible to make something like this. The user entered html source is interpreted by the browser
only in a certain scope such that if the user entered html source contains errors, that will not effect the other parts of the document.

Thank you
deniz
