Stupid question so here goes.

Exchange 2K3 environment, Outlook2K3 client.

If you open another users contact folder you'll see the folder in the "My
Contacts" list.  If you right click the folder and select "Remove from My
Contacts" the folder is gone, just as it should.  What happenes if you want
to view that folder again, how does one config it so it's viewable in the "My
Contacts" folder list again?

You can go back up and open the other users folder, the contacts populated
in the right hand details pane but the folder does not populate in "My
Contacts".

Any help would be great.

Thanx

OK now this is getting interesting......

I do exactly as you say.

Switch to "Folder View"
Select "Contacts"
File
Open
Other Users Folder
Grab the user from GAL
Folder Type: = Contacts
Click OK

Once the screen refreshes my view is back to "Navigation" and the contact folder I opened is viewable in "Other Contacts".  No right click option "Add to to my contacts" is available.  If I change back to "Folder View" the contact folder is not listed?

Outlook 2003 SP2.

I know you all think I've been smoking something but unfortunatly I have not.....

No the other users folder is not in my folder list, it's in "Other Contact"
"Add to my Contacts" is not an option.

It all started when a user right clicked a delegates Contacts that was listed in the users Contacts and selected "Remove from My Contacts"  Well the user called asking for help, my original post is what's happening now.

It sure is strange.  If no one has a fix I think I'll reinstall the client, maybe the reg is jacked some where.

HOLD THE BRAIN CELLS.....

Key word here = "delegate"

I changed the user over to open the other users mailbox and changed to folder view, went to the other users contact folder, right clicked "Add to My Contacts" clicked on the contacts in navigation and low and behold the folderis back in the users My Contacts list.....
