If you really want gigabit Internet speed, you've got to pay serious money for a multiple-T1 or T3 direct connection to the Internet, probably using fiber-optic cabling. Expect thousands of dollars a month for service charges. At that point, you're ready to run your own ISP.
Face it, cable modems are intended for "home quality." While some cable companies will offer "business-class" service, I doubt the modem is any different; typically the big difference is simply a static IP address, so you can run your own web site on your server.
The other point is that the need for speed is frankly overrated (once you've made the jump from dialup to broadband). The difference in display time for a typical web page between a DSL (1.5 Mbps), Cable (5-8 Mbps), or T1 (faster) connection is essentially nil, much more affected by the speed of your computer than by the speed of the connection. The time when you'll notice a difference is when you're downloading large files--unless you're really badly ADD, it needs to be over 25 MB or so of a download at one time to matter. How often are you doing that? Unless you're trying to vacuum up every illegal music file on the Internet...
