Removing Slashes and Dashes from String

Please help!  I know how to replace a dash or a slash from a phone number field, but is there a way to remove both using one line?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Could use regular expression or a format function...but for on line:

number = "1/333-444-5555"
newnumb = replace(replace(number, "-", ""), "/", "")

So if I were saving the number from a form to a database, I would write it like this:

rsData("PhoneNumber")=replace(replace(request.form("PhoneNumber", "-", ""), "/", ""))

Does that look right??
No,  I hoped my explanation was clear.

Just the replace the word number with request.form("PhoneNumber")
