I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I've had nothing BUT trouble downloading their clips. It is never consistent for me at work or home. Of course I'm trying to download the free clips. I'm sure if you were to pay the pay plan the success rate would be a lot better. ;-)

Agree with DH.  CNN's clips are a pain.  I refuse to try their new program that you can sign up for, free if you don't mind spam (I suspect).  Personally; I read their (cnn) news and respect their reporting but when it comes to video I go to msnbc.

Are you talking about viewing or downloading as in keeping and watching offline at a later date.
I think the .asx extension indicates streaming, so there shouldn't be a cached file like you get with QuickTime.

You could try a desktop capture program like Captivate or Camtasia I suppose.
