Outlook Windows Shakes

I have a customer with a Toshiba Tecra Laptop running Window XP Pro and Office 2003 Standard Edition. Sometimes in Outlook the window will shake and he is unable to read his email. If he minimizes the windows it stops, but when that window is up again it might shake it might not. I went to try and fix it, but they could not show me what was happening. It would not happen.

He was just down in Mexico I think and it only started after he got back from there. He has no viruses or Spyware. Any Ideas?

Check the monitor refresh rate. The definition of 'my monitor is shaking' is often used when the refresh rate is not optimally configured. On a laptop it should be around 85Hz, play with these settings, and see if the 'shaking' disappears.

Or drink more tequilla and see if the problem goes away!

If not try beer with tequilla chasers and re-test.

I have tried 1 to 6 from user war1, but have not heard back from the customer yet. Will hear next week!
