Evidence that in house admin is better than outsoucing.

Hi,

I've looked myself (google etc) but havn't found much. I'm after some (indipendant if possible) online evidence that having your Notes Admin in house is better than outsourcing. I know it tends to be something that is different from site to site, but I'm basically after anything that says in house is better, or has case studies that prove the same.

Cheers,

Sam.

Sam,
Its always good to maintain an inhouse Admin. But small companies cannot afford as the pay for and Admin is high. So, they outsource...

Is this what you are looking at?

Not really. There's currently a large company that's outsoucing it's Domino Admin (but has in house develeopers). Someone in that company has asked me to provide an arguement that they should also have in house Admin. I'm trying to find some information that gives the negatives of outsourcing along with positives of have in house administrators. They basically want to sell their boss on the idea of dumping their outsource admin and hiring their own (which would also benefit me cos I may be looking soon :D

Marilyng, not even a few points for my answer? Why please?
You're welcome Rick :)

No offence meant, but read the Help at
    https://www.experts-exchange.com/help.jsp#hi68
"In case of duplicate or similar comments, you should always select the first comment posted."

Now we can discuss the word "duplicate"...
Ahhh, ok. I didn't even check your web references, sjef. So, I didn't "plagerize" anything I read anywhere. I answered it with my own opinion. Apparently not worth much. Not sure I understand how some answers get split poinits and others don't....but so be it. I guess any answer to such a general question could be considered a duplicate answer.
> Not sure I understand how some answers get split poinits and others don't
Duh. I feel the same, I assume nobody ever reads the Help. I've seen some great parrots in here, who said the same in their own words (I assume) and they got the jackpot! Sometimes I make a fuss over it, but usually I couldn't care less...
I hear you. I'm not going to make a big deal out of it. Was just wondering how it was decided is all. But, who cares really? It's not like its $$$ or anything....   8-)
Sorry guys things have been crazy and I'll admit I don't check here as often as I should, I've just added 100 for Rick cos I'm not short on points and hey you should get something for making an effort but being ingnored by the question asker (I wasn't, but it'd look that way :)

Thanks guys.
Thats cool, Samurai. We all get too busy from time to time. And Thanks for the points!
