alternative to TextPad

Does anyone know an alternative to Textpad?

I use TextPad, and it is a great product. Super for viewing large text files, but one thing I don't like is that it uses non-standard keyboard-shortcuts. For example, to find something you press F4 instead of CRTL-F , or to replace something you press F8.

When forming habits and programming in SqlServer, it can be very dangeous to press F5 by accident!

Greatly appreciated,

What about e.g. SuperPad plus (http://www.nahnet.com/superpad/plus/)? Depending on your requirements, 'Eclipse' (www.eclipse.org) might also be an option.

Having never used TextPad, I assert my suggestion of Notepad++:  http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm
If you need to open a gigabyte sized text file, then UltraEdit is nice to have.  Otherwise, I'd strongly recommend EditPlus.
