I am very interested in a bluetooth device, unfortunitally, the software package it comes with is for a Microsoft Mobile 5.0 Operating system (palm). I wish to use it on Windows XP Professional SP2. I have a strong history in programming. Is it possible to write my own windows application with which to interface to this palm? What information would I need and how would I get it? Basically my two main concerns are:

1.) Getting the information transmitted from teh bluetooth device
2.) Interpreting that information to meaningful data (I don't know if it is scrambled or not)

If I can clear up those issue's I'm sure I could manipulate the data. Thank you.
