remove page break in crystal report

My report footer is pushing onto a second page, but it looks like there is plenty of room on page one. How do I force it back? Thanks in advance for assistance.

Check Report -> Section Expert.  Remove any checkmarks on 'Page Break Before' or 'Page Break After'.  Also remove any 'Keep Together' checkmarks.  Make sure you check each section and do this for all of them.

Also in your designer, shrink down each of your sections to the minimum size required.  If you have an inch of white space in your detail section above the first field, Crystal will reproduce this white space on your report.

Hi,

Click the menu Format > Section > and then check the option 'Supress Blank Section' for all the sections in your report...
specially Report Footer and Page Footer in your case.

Thanks,
SyedNabeel.

Thanks for the ideas guys. I tried all of them, but now the last record AND the page footer are breaking to a new page. Weird thing is the records on page 1 only go to 3.5 inches (report is landscape) - should be plenty more room.

If the page footer is breaking to a new page this almost always means that the problem is in either the report header or the page header.  Temporarily suppress both of them and see if your printing works correctly - if so, suppress them one at a time to figure out which one is the problem.

Make sure you've got all the white space out of the problem section.

When I suppress the report footer the rest of the report stays together on one page. No white space to get out though, so when I turn it back on it breaks to the next page again.
frodomanCommented:
How large is the report footer?  Is it too big to fit on a single page?
rmoeldersAuthor Commented:
Definitely not - it's very small. Two lines close together 10pt each.

I can't think of anything else that would cause this.  Can you post a copy of your report somewhere so we can take a look at it?
