Databases corrupt when I edit the website using Frontpage
Hello experts,
I noticed that whenever I update something on the website the database get corrupted. Which database? only the ones with Spooky Diet. The database that I did using the DRW wizard do not change. I only get the error in those database with dieted code.
Is it my Frontpage? I uninstalled all Office then reinstalled it, no change.
Does anyone know the reason?
Thanks a million

Thank you nprignano,
I have
MS Frontpage 2003
MS Access 2003
I do not have access to the server
Spooky Diet (what is it called) is a way to remove the redunant code that is created by the DRW. This also enables you add code to the page.
When I open the website live using frontpage and change even one hyperlink I get the problem. The message I get is the there is a database error.
I republish the website from a good previous copy then everything goes back to normal.
Thanks

have you tried making your changes locally, and then publishing to the server and checking if you get the error? if not, do so.
i am familiar with the spooky diet in purpose, but not in actually using it and as such i have not experienced any of its downfalls that it may have.

No I always work Live.

I always work live. The website is an ASP one. We are not allowed to run IIS on the workstation.
I don't mean you should test the site locally, just save a local copy, edit the file and then republish.
Have you checked with the system administrator to see if the FrontPage server extensions need to be repaired or reinstalled?

Problem seems big. Points increased.
The problem is still the same, even if I work locally.

Thank you all
I replaced the files, they worked like a charm.
Thanks
what version of MS FrontPage and Access (if you have Access) do you have?
do you host or have access to the server that hosts your website, or do you pay a company to host it remotely?
what are you updating on the site prior to the corruption?
how are you updating - are you editing live on the server or editing locally and publishing to the server?
how many databases do you have?
is the database itself becoming corrupt, or the files that use the database?
please answer these questions so i can better understand what is going on.
