Resize column width by dragging

I have a table with 2 columns the first column has one cell and contains a navigation menu the other column has content.  What I want to do is during runtime have it so the user is able to increase or decrease the size of the column by dragging, like you would in Microsoft Excel.  I would love for some code examples in asp.net, C#, or javascript. Thanks for your help!

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi tonyedmo,

This question is probably best asked in the JavaScript TA, because that's what it will require to accomplish this.  I did a quick search and there are companies out there charging for such functionality, so my guess is it's not incredibly easy to build:

Good luck though!
