Stop Users Modifying Distribution List

Not sure how this has cropped up but I've just noticed users can modify who is in an Exchange Distribution List and I would rather they didn't. We are using Exchange 2000 with Outlook XP as a client and do not have a list owner.

As it's a bit of a "we need to sort this out quickly" I'm going to give it 500 points as you may need to ask a few questions.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Check the DL permissions, and remove the users whom you don't want there!!!

Only users that need to be in there are there.
I would recommend moving all your distribution groups to their own OU with or without the security groups and setting permissions at the OU level.
