Telnet security on an AIX

I need to have a way to restrict access to our server only to one specific address.

I've heard about hosts.allow, but I think you know better ways.

Anyway the AIX will need to accept telnet connections from only one external IP (office located on another city) and from all the internal IP addresses (our sales people Ips)

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

And what if somone fakes (pretends to be) that IP address? This is called "spoofing" and means that such a security scheme is invalid. Find another way. One alternative is to use ssh only and not telnet.

How can we implement that?
